Shape before size

Lip filler that still looks like your lips

Lip treatment can address contour, proportion, symmetry or selected volume loss. The plan should respect the natural lip structure, dental support, profile and movement rather than applying the same shape to every patient.

The central ideaLip treatment can address contour, proportion, symmetry or selected volume loss. The plan should respect the natural lip structure, dental support, profile and movement rather than applying the same shape to every patient.

What creates a natural result

Natural does not simply mean using less filler. Placement, product behavior, upper-to-lower lip relationship, chin projection and the patient’s baseline anatomy all matter. Some asymmetry is structural and should not be chased with repeated volume.

What to expect after treatment

Swelling can make the lips look larger or uneven before settling. Bruising and tenderness may occur. The final assessment should wait until the early swelling has resolved, unless warning symptoms require urgent review.

When treatment may be delayed

Active infection, inflamed skin, certain dental timing, pregnancy-related considerations, recent procedures or unclear previous filler may change the plan. A medical history is part of lip-filler safety.

Frequently asked questions

01Will one millilitre look natural?

Syringe volume alone does not predict the result. Anatomy, product, placement and how much is actually used matter.

02How long does lip swelling last?

It is usually most noticeable early and then improves, but timing varies. Severe pain, blanching, mottling or visual symptoms need immediate contact.

03Can I copy a celebrity lip shape?

A reference can explain preference, but the result must fit your own anatomy and proportions.
